Oh, don't be sorry! Especially if it's due to real life taking up time. *hugs* But it's always wonderful to receive your comments - I'm always thrilled to hear what you think!

I'm really glad Speirs' expression turned out well, since his is the only real face you can see in this drawing. And I just loved this moment in the episode, so that makes me happy. :) *sends Speirs off for you*

Let me tell you - those helmets with that netting over them are the biggest pain in the ass to draw. :P But the effort is always worth it, especially when I'm lucky to have an appreciative audience. :D

I'm so so so excited to see you! *dances* I don't have a preference for any particular date, but if it's possible to be in Winnipeg on a weekend, that would be best. I don't even know what else to say, I'm so excited! :D

Well, real life combined with my very persistent Muse can be very very demanding (or rather overwhelming -_-V). Still, I just have to comment on such beauty, so even if it comes a wee bit late, it comes ^^ Speirs' expression is beyond criticism, my dear, it's absolutely *perfect* You just have a knack for getting faces and their expressions down to the last detail (I remember Roe) and that makes them so alive and real. It's a gift that few people have, IMHO. *accepts Speirs and puts him somewhere private with Lipton*

Ohhh, no need to tell me about those helmets and that !@?/% netting. I had that encounter when I made the Winters/Nixon manip with the helmet in the foreground - and the worst was that I needed a hemlet in good quality, and they were never complete. So I had to put it together out of several pieces, and manipping the netting almost killed my patience...

*dances with you* Me too, I'm so excited! I can't wait for the journey to start! When I come to you, I will already have travelled for over two months and three countries (not counting Norway), so I guess I'll have a lot to tell ^^ I'll make sure to include a weekend in Winnipeg so that we have some time to chat (or go take pictures or just walk around or fangirl or watch BoB... ^^). I want to book those fights until the end of next week, and I'll let you know the dates once I've booked! (I read that you want to go to Normandy in August? That's so cool! I'd love to walk those WWII areas with you and relive BoB scenes and see all kinds of stuff... Pity that I have no idea in which part of the world I'll be in August -_-V)

Well, I'm at least glad to hear that creative pursuits have had a part in keeping you busy. Hopefully that part of it is a little more on the fun side of things, even if it all gets overwhelming. I know the feeling!

I remember that gorgeous manip, although I never knew that helmet had to be put together. In fact, I just went to go take another look at it, and it still looks just as seamless! Although, for both our sake's, I just wish they'd learn to wear those helmets without that damn stuff over top. :P

I can't believe it! And, wow - that sounds like quite the trip. I've never traveled for that amount of time, but I'm sure it'll be wonderful. Have a good time before you get to me. ;P That way, I can hear all about it! And I definitely think we should do all of those things. (Yes!! I haven't quite chosen the exact time yet, but around August. I'll be staying close to Juno Beach and the Canadian sector, and I'll be there long enough to see it all. But I promise when I do go to take lots and lots and lots of photographs to show you. :) )
